I ordered from Marine Layer for the first time, i feel good about it. I’d been on the fence about trying them, but the checkout was so easy that it kind of justified the decision for me. The site didn’t freeze or force me to make a million accounts before paying, which I really appreciated. Shipping options were clear, and I got the confirmation email right away. Overall, it was a smooth experience, and I’d definitely order from them again.

"Super comfy stuff"
I ordered a hoodie and a couple of tees from Marine Layer they’re crazy soft. The fit is relaxed but doesn’t look all baggy or sloppy, which I really liked. I ended up wearing the hoodie like 3 days straight lol. It’s def not the cheapest, but for the comfort I’m happy with it.

I ordered my usual size, and somehow the shirt ended up fitting super boxy and way too short, while the pants were tight in the waist. The clothes are cute, but the sizing feels all over the place. I feel like I keep having to explain that I bought my normal size, so it’s annoying when nothing fits the way you’d expect.

I had a little issue with my order from marinelayer where one of the items just wasn’t in the package. I emailed them about it and they got back to me quickly, which was nice because I was expecting maybe a whole annoying thing. But no, they just sent out the missing shirt and didn’t make it complicated or anything. It was simple, no endless back and forth, so yeah, I was happy with how they handled it

I had to swap a shirt for a different size, it was way easier than people make returns sound sometimes. The return label came through quickly, the tracking was clear the whole time, and the replacement showed up faster than I expected. I don’t really see what there is to complain about, it was a smooth process, and I’d order again...

"Soft clothes, easy order"
I grabbed a couple of tees and a sweater from Marine Layer kind of in a rush, and I’m happy with them. Everything feels really soft right away, not like that stiff new-shirt feel you sometimes have to wash a few times. I also like that they use recycled and more sustainable fabrics, and the Re-Spun program seems like a cool idea. It makes me feel a little less guilty about buying new clothes. Shipping was totally normal and I didn’t have any issues. The prices aren’t exactly cheap, but so far the quality makes it feel worth it...

I’ve been happy with the clothes overall. They feel really nice, hold up well after wearing and washing, and the quality definitely comes through. The prices can be a little steep, so I usually wait for a sale before buying. If you can catch a discount, I’d definitely recommend checking them out.

I like how much they have, honestly. Tees, sweaters, random comfy basics... it’s just easy to find something for work or for the weekend. The sizes and colors are usually good too, which helps when you’re trying to grab a few things and not overthink it...

I’ve noticed these shirts are low-maintenance so far. They wash easily and still feel soft after a few cycles, which is usually a good sign for me. The only pattern I’m watching is the dryer situation — one of mine shrank a little after drying, but not enough to make it unwearable. It still fits fine, just a bit snugger than before.

"Still Holding Up Really Well"
In my experience, Marine Layer stuff has held up better than a lot of other soft shirts I’ve bought. I’ve had a few of their shirts for over a year now, and even after tons of washes, they still look good and haven’t gotten stretched out or weird. I’ve also taken one of their hoodies on plenty of weekend trips, and it still feels solid. They’re definitely not the cheapest, but to me, they seem worth it because they actually last.
